heh, yesterday i was on bus 111 to go to school for a project meeting.. then after a few bus stop, i could smell like burning smell, then 'cos i was sitting beside a window, i looked out of the window and i saw alot of smoke.. everyone on the bus could smell and see too.. then the bus driver got down to check it out, then got back onto the bus and drove some more.. then after a few metres, we smelt some more burning smell, and saw some more smoke. by now, we (the passengers) were super freaked out already, then we hurriedly alighted.. the smell was really very strong.. then we "evacuated" to the nearby busstop.. then the bus driver went to go check the engine.. after that when i was talking to him, he said that the belt snapped... that's why the whole engine malfunction.. quite an experience leh... i was nearly involved in a bus "explosion" accident.. hahahahaa!
oh then while i was waiting at the bus stop for another bus 111 to come right, this very old lady came up to me and this other person sitting at the bus stop and passed us two handouts.. it was about fa-lun-kong.. this chinese mediatation thingy.. it was sort of like a protest against the discrimination and ill-treatment of the fa-lun-gong practitioners.. then they showed horrid pictures of how these practitioners were hurt/injured during the discrimination.. something like that lah..
then of course i really couldn't be bothered, so i threw the two handouts away, and the other person also threw them away.. then soon after, the bus came, so i got on, then the bus travelled a few metres.. then 'cos i was looking out of my window, then i saw that there were two people sitting on a mat along the road, sitting in the mediatation position, mediatating.. then at the side there's the banner which says, "fa-lun-gong blah blah"... i couldn't see properly..
the whole district was like behind orchard road one.. few people will walk past.. like alot of expensive terrace houses, and alot of embassies... and this "protest" act was set across the road from the china embassy... hmm.. i just thought that it was very interesting... never seen something like that before.. but i just thought that it was quite sad that they had a really old lady going around to give out the flyers.. hmm.. interesting interesting...
i really want to travel around the world to see all the other types of cultures and livestyles.. i want i want!!!! serene, let's go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D =D =D
anyway i went for my geog module project meeting! =D ate at genki sushi at yih! not bad!! =D =D =D and something funny happened!! hahahaha! 'cos we wanted to pay for the food already lah, so the waitress had to come over to count the number of coloured plates that we took.. then as we were waiting for the waitress to come, we wanted to look at the menu again.. so we opened the menu, and one side of the menu was leaning against a stack of plates.. but we didn't know it was.. as in, it wasn't intentional lah..
then so the waitress finally came over and counted the plates.. then we looked at what she wrote down, and we realised that she missed out on plates that were "hidden" by the menu!!!!!! i think it was around six plates? yeah.. so in the end after laughing alot about it, we decided not to tell the waitress about it.. hahahaha! super bad but then.. aiya, never mind.. hahaha! it's to our benefit anyway.. hahahaha! so in the end all of us just paid like $5 each.. hahahaha! super cheap lah! for the amount of food that we ate.. hahahaha! =D =D =D
woohoo! praise God! for both experiences.. =D
anyway my project mates and i decided to do SPCA for our project! =D
then after lunch i went for my bahasa tutorial.. wa!!!! this tutor, ibu agnes, went so fast! and there was so much to learn! hahahaah! really crazy.. my partner and i were like whoaaaa... hahahaha!
then after that i met bee at orchard!!!!!! =D =D =D janice was there too.. hee... so happy to see bee!!! haven't seen her for a long long time! hahahaha! passed her her birthday present... hahahaha! her interesting birthday present.. hahaha! then we walked around.. shopped at watsons.. hahaha! ate at crystal jade.. walked around... hhahaah! then went to take neoprint!!! hahahaha! =D bee's leaving on the fourth!!! =( =( =( don't go! why's everyone leaving??? =( =( =(

random stuff again.. heh =D
korkor took us out for a spin yesterday night! heh.. =D xuefen's cousin lent korkor xuefen's brother's car.. heh.. super cool lah! we drove to rochor to eat the yummy beancurd! my first time trying! it's really very yummy... very smooth.. heh =D then we drove xuef to her party beside sajc.. then we drove by the chinatown way back home.. =D then korkor went to meet his friends to play pool.. =D i really can't wait to have my own car!! ahh!! but i was just discussing with serene, then we were saying how we should save up for a holiday instead of a car.. 'cos a car.. hmm.. not that practical.. but then, deep down inside, i still want my car!!! it's more convenient.. i don't care.. i want.. i don't care if the value depreciates.. i want i want i wantttt... but ya lah, true.. the petrol and the road taxes and all that stuff.. but i've decided that if i want a car i'll earn my own money and buy one.. i won't let mummy and papa pay for it.. heh.. =D or...... i can win it from a lucky draw!!! woohoo!! hahahaha! =D
hmm... what else? weekend's over again... tomorrow's school! looking forward to it! =D i like school lah.. but then i must studyyyy.. hahahah! i think i know why lah.. in my house there's no place to study.. 'cos my supposedly "study table" is like filled with all sorts of things.. all piled up... no place to study at all.. then at the tea table at the living room.. hmm... a funny place to study lah.. maybe i'll go school to study.. heh.. =D i really can't wait for my bahasa indonesia classes to start!! heh =D
serene says she'll most probably come back mid-april.. can't wait!!! heh.. hopefully the twins come back around that time too! then we all can like go batam together or something!! how fun lah!!! hahahah! =D hai.. then that bee is leaving soon... =( =( =( =( =( really more than half the octagonites are gone! only left with me, anna and grace... =( =( =( i miss the twins, serene, kes and beeeeeeeeeee.... very upsetting leh.. when your super good friends all leave singapore.. =( i also want to run away to another country... =)
anyway i downloaded more of pastor's messages into my ipod.. can't wait to hear them.. heh.. =D but i think there's something wrong with my laptop's d drive leh.. some cds cannot be read.. hmmmmm...
chinese new year's coming.. think my family is going to triang to visit my father's side of the family.. but i really don't feel like going.. =( i know this is bad.. but.. hmmm.. if my papa buys the tickets i guess i'll go lah.. Lord, please help me to change my feelings and thoughts... =)

hee hee.. i'm so happy.. =D 'cos serene called me today!!! hahahah! =D it was really a surprise lah!!! just as i was stepping out of the car after my driving lesson then the phone rang.. i took my phone and saw "CALL", so i knew that it was some overseas call.. but i never expected to hear serene's voice at the other end of the phone!!! ahhhh!!! heh.. =D even though we talked for maybe ten minutes? but it felt so good!!!! =D =D =D and she'll be calling me again! 'cos she bought this calling card and she has to use it finish within a month.. hahaahha! and it has 13 hours to it!! =D =D =D yay!!! =D serene!!! hahahaha! =D but it was quite funny talking.. 'cos there was maybe a three seconds lag? so i'll speak, then i'll hear slience, then she'll speak, then silence again, then i'll be able to hear her.. =D can't wait for her to come back!! heh =D
today i was late for driving!! how very horrible.. =( ALL the buses came except the three buses that i could take.. and when my bus finally came, there was a jam.. waaaa!!! waste my money lor!!! 'cos if i'm late my instructor won't add on the time that was lost.. yeah.. but i still enjoyed driving today! =D learned right turns.. hee.. and reverse.. i don't like reversing.. so difficult to see.. hahahaha.. and i think i'm quite a reckless driver.. haahahah! never mind never mind.. i will refine myself.. hahahaa! =D yay!!! can't wait to get my license and a CAR and start driving my own car!!!! hahahaha! =D =D =D

random thoughts...
i just bought a pack of toblerone chocolates.. three bars each 35grams... i promise that today will be the last day that i eat chocolate and that i won't eat anymore chocolate (excessively) from tomorrow onwards for at least one month? yeah.. heh =D
i just came back from nursery, and the kids are just too cute to be true.. hahahah! =D =D =D
angels are truly with me.. 'cos many times i would slip, in my wet bathroom, or while walking in the rain, but i would never fall.. would always be able to get back up on my feet.. thank you Lord =D
next time my house must have a chillout (preferrably outdoors) area.. =D =D =D
tomorrow school's going to start.. i really can't wait.. =D i call this semester BLESSED and GOOD and AMAZING and FAVOURED! =D molecular genetics, biochemistry, human anatomy, place.environment.society, bahasa indonesia. =D all blessed! all blesseD! =D and by the end of this semester, my CAP score will be HIGH! soaring HIGH! yayyyyy =D

heeee.. i just came back from my air rifle outing!! hahaha! so long never meet them already lor!
kefei looks very different-he lost so much weight!! but still ever so crappy. hahaha! audrey-with her stunning new look!! =D pretty pretty! =D albert-the same. hahahaha! paul-the same too.. hahaha! but looks as though he lost some weight too. marie-still the same,looking really pretty today! weixuan-the same..but hair much shorter. hahaha! elvin-the same. darren-the same. ss-looks abit hunkier? hahahaha!
it was really nice meeting up with them after so long.. heh.. i met audrey first at coffeebean to chat.. =D then we went off to meet the rest at orchard mrt.. =) after that we went to wheellock, wanted to eat at sakae sushi, but then whoaaaa, the queue was super long!! hahahhaa! so we tried nydc.. then we had to wait.. so we waited.. but in the end we were running out of time so we headed off to lido to eat instead.. hahahaa! so waste time lor.. 'cos we waited at nydc for quite some time.. hahaha
so we had our dinner at lido, then audrey,maire and i were sitting with our backs facing the big screen which showed all the trailers.. while darren, albert and paul sat facing the big screen.. then it was so weird lor! the three guys were like watching the screen.. then we three girls were just looking at them looking at the screen.. hahahaha! super weird.. hahahah!
then after that we went to watch the show.. the family stone.. i thought it was alright.. yeah.. how they incorporated comedy plus love in the show was a little funny though.. as in, it didn't really flow very well.. as in, i felt as though it had more of a comedy feel to it than a love feel.. but then there were like more love scenes than comedy scenes.. so it was really quite funny.. hahaha!
anyway after the movie we walked to the mrt (after stopping outing lido for some time 'cos we didn't know what to do and where to go.. hahaha! that's the problem with going out in big groups.. hahaha!).. then we stopped at the mrt too.. hahahah! 'cos they wanted to wait for their train to come then rush down.. hahahaah!
it was really good seeing them again! heh.. =D we might have another gathering on hari raya.. might.. if anyone bothers to organise.. hahahah! =D anyway i'm back home now.. put on the h2o-plus eye mask that i bought last time.. hahaha! i only used one packet so far.. hahahaha! anyway i have one on now.. heh.. and i took out my contact lenses so i'm like half-blind now 'cos i can't wear my spectacles either 'cos i have the mask on.. hahahha! so my eyes are like glued to the screen.. hahahaha! anyway i really need the eye mask 'cos yesterday i slept at 7am!! hahaha! 'cos i stayed up all night to watch the korean drama!!! hahahah!

pitter patter pitter patter.. it's raining outside now so i can't go out now...
anyway, yesterday was quite eventful for me.. hahaha! i nearly had a car accident while driving.. hahahaha! 'cos i was at this cross-junction, then i had to make a right turn.. then there was this motorcycle coming in the opposite direction, so i was suppose to stop to let him pass first.. then i slowed down.. and i thought i stopped! but apparently not. so my instructor had to like press his brake.. then the whole car stalled.. then by that time i was in a blur already.. hahaha! then he asked me to restart the engine.. and it took me two turns to start the engine again.. then it was really quite chaotic.. 'cos i was stuck in the middle of the cross junction.. all the cars waiting for me to go, before they could go..
then when i finally turned into the right lane, the van that was behind me went past me and the guy in the passenger seat turned around to look at me.. so paiseh.. but what's his problem.. hahahaha! i hope my instructor is not angry with me!! oh no.. am i a bad student?? hahahah! shit lah i don't care.. i'm still learning.. it's only my third lesson.. heh =D
anyway after that i went to have lunch then i went to borders to read cecelia ahern's new book, If Only You Could See Me Now.. sat in borders for six hours straight! hahaha! i was freezing lah! but i really wanted to finish the book.. hahaha! didn't want to buy it 'cos waste money lah.. read one time then won't read again.. it's a really nice book.. very different from her Rosie Dunne.. and the twists are really quite refreshing.. heh heh.. =D should go and read.. =D interesting plot lah.. =D =D =D now i want to read James Frey's A Million Little Pieces and My Friend,Leonard... can't wait!! heh =D

and once again... i love my scfour!! hahahaah! =D =D =D
yesterday (saturday) i met mummy and jiejie for lunch.. then i went shopping at bugis by myself while the both of them went to meet some agent to go look at some shop.. which i wasn't interested in.. that's why i left first.. hahaha!
then after that i met up with them again.. shopped a little while at bugis.. then we went to orchard.. then shopped again.. then had to leave to go meet gladys..
then we went to chai's house together.. so we were all just chitchatting in his room.. then his mother chased us out to go eat dinner.. then food was quite yummy! heh =D then after that we went back to the room for a discussion.. hahahaha! finally we decided to go to the party at ngee ann city..
so we trooped off in 3 cars to ngee ann.. but when we reached there.. we were like, shit, we're not going to pay $25 for that kind of party.. hahaha! 'cos we all thought that the tent will be like enclosed.. but turns out that there was only a shelter.. so we were like, no way man.. hahahah!
then after much much much much time-wasting and huddling-around-in-a-group and delibration, we finally decided on clarke guay.. hahahah! then as we were walking back to the cars.. someone (think it was kahyi/ttt) suggested that we get onto the rivertaxis and watch the fireworks and countdown! so upon hearing that, all of us were like super excited already.. hahahah! then we faster faster drove to clarke quay.. (but we went back to chai's house to take his car first)
then because of the closure of esplanade road.. we were caught in a jam.. then we all succumbed to the fact that we were going to countdown in the car.. hahahaha! but thank God!! we didn't! hahahaha! we finally made it to clarke quay (despite us-ttt's car getting lost.. hahaha!)
the guys decided to buy one of those spray cans... i tell you, i hate the foam ones!!! hahahaha! anyway we gathered into a pub and counted down.. waaaa.. very fun.. hahahaha! then we were like spraying and spraying and spraying.. and other people were spraying us too!!!! hahahaha! super soapy and dirty.. but it was fun.. hahahaha! =D
then after that (after much time-wasting and huddling-around-in-a-group and deliberation) we went into eski bar.. heh.. oh!!! before that we coped some balloons and we breathed in helium!! hahahaha! =D =D =D it was SUPER funny lah!!! hahahahaha! we all sounded like daffy duck! hahahahahah!
ok so eski bar, that was when more fun started! hahaha! jas intro-ed us to this really fun game!! and it was super hilarious too! hahahaha! super super fun... we played until... 3 something? i think.. hahaah! chivas + coke is yummy! heh.. =D (but i think i'm allergic to too much alcohol.. 'cos on sunday i started having rashes-like stuff on me.. hahaha! but not itchy at all.. =D ) then after that we all went home.. but i took a cab back while the the rest took chai's and ttt's cars back.. =D i waited super long for the cab lah! in the end i just called a cab.. hahahaha!

today's monday.. yesterday (sunday) i woke up at 8am to go to church.. didn't make it for first service.. hahaah! in the end my sister and i went for second service.. =D then we left slightly earlier to go children's church.. =D pastor preached about letting ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit this year.. i'm really looking forward to this year.. and i can't wait to start school!!! hahahaah! i know you all must be thinking i'm crazy but i think i've had enough fun this holidays.. it's time to go back to school! hahahah and study! =D and i promise that this sem i'll be more hardworking.. with Jesus's strength of course.. heh heh.. =D
